WHO WILL DWELL IN YOUR TABERNACLE?

Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart." Psalm 15: 1,2

Steve is not happy. He often wonders what is wrong with him, and he finds no answers. He has Christian values. He learned them as a child. Today, those values are present in his day-to-day life. He is a good citizen. He does not steal, he does not kill, and he pays his taxes honestly. But he does not pray or seek God. The few times Steve wanted to talk to the Lord, he felt God was very distant.

Today's verse answers Steve's question. To have a real God, it is necessary to walk with Him in integrity, justice, and truth. Integrity means the complete dedication of one's faculties to the pursuit of God. There can be no division. Either you are, or you are not. Being half-hearted makes you feel empty, absent, and distant. Unable to feel God's presence.

The problem with a partial or split search is that you run an endless race. You do not find it, you get frustrated, you get discouraged, and you lose faith. You go on to doubt, and when doubt is corrosive and takes hold of your heart, you are a cloud that wanders aimlessly and without direction.

Throughout my life, I have encountered many Steves. Wonderful people who do not understand the emptiness of their heart. They struggle to find the Lord, but they have the impression that God is hiding from them. Do you want to live in God's presence? Do you long to feel him by your side? Seek Him with integrity, justice, and truth.

He loves you and calls you. He searches for you day and night, in the spring and in the fall, when you are young, or when the winter of life covers your hair with snow. He never tires of calling you, because to Him you are the most precious thing in this world.

Take Action

To experience God's friendship, do not stop listening to Him and following Him. Seek God in His Word and in life; many signs will show Him to you every day. Put His teachings into practice, which will also help you to experience Him. Sing "Who May Dwell in Your Sacred Tent" (if possible, with your family).
