YOU ARE SENT TO SPEAK OF JESUS TO OTHERS

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!’” Romans 10: 14,15

A chilling report by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) reports that every day 25,000 people die of hunger in the world. These are people who do not have enough to eat. They die of starvation. On the other hand, there are no statistics to know the number of people who reach the final moment of their lives with an empty soul, drowning in despair and anguish.

Millions of people die without ever having heard of Jesus as the hope of the ages. They die famous, powerful, millionaires, and surrounded by luxury, but with an empty heart and a sad soul, since all their expectations were limited to the things of this life.

Faced with this gloomy spiritual panorama, the apostle asks himself the questions that we read in today's text: How will they know Jesus if we do not show him to them? The joy of salvation generates in you the desire to run to announce to them that they no longer have to suffer spiritual hunger because Jesus is the Bread of Life. When God calls you into His arms of love, he calls you at the same time to be an instrument of communication of the gospel with your life, your example, and your word. No one who truly loves can remain silent without telling another that they have found the love of their life.

Today can be a special day for you if you accept the invitation and become a source of living water for those who perish of thirst in the world. If you do, your feet will be beautiful as you walk the streets of this life proclaiming the good news that you no longer have sleepless nights or days when sadness takes over the heart. Do you accept the Master's invitation?
