The Giant Boat

«Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. […] And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him.» Genesis 7:1, 5

Adam and Eve’s family grew a lot! More children came, then grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and now there were many people on Earth. However, most of these people did not love God. They created gods to worship. They also became bad.

Among these people, there were a few who still worshiped God. Noah was one of them. God gave him a task: to build a very large boat so that all the people who wanted to would be protected from a terrible flood that would fall on the earth.

It had never rained before, but Noah obeyed. He made the boat and warned the people about the flood. But they laughed and did not want to get on the boat.

When the boat was ready, several pairs of animals marched inside. The flood came, and only these animals, Noah and his family were saved. Every other living thing died in the waters.

Let’s practice!

Draw Noah’s big boat, cut out several kinds of animals and glue them on the picture.
