«I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.» Job 42:5
After hearing God’s words, Job knelt before Him and said: “Lord, I recognize that You know everything and that I know nothing. Now I can understand much better! No matter what bad things happen, one day You will fix everything because You know and can do everything!”
Next, Job felt compassion for those men who accused and criticized him. Do you know what he did? He prayed for them! As Job prayed for them, God gave him twice as much of everything that he had lost. His brothers and friends came to his house and embraced him and brought him very expensive gifts and feasted with him.
Job was healed of his wounds and was greatly blessed by God with thousands of sheep, camels, oxen and donkeys.
He had seven sons and three daughters. Do you know the names of the girls? Jemimah, Keziah and Keren-Happuch. They were the most beautiful women in the world during that time.
After that, Job lived for many, many years.
Let’s practice!
Draw Job’s three daughters on a piece of paper and include the name of each in the drawing.
