«Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.» Psalm 103:1
Do you love your dad? He works every day so that you have a house to live in, a bed to sleep in, blankets to keep you warm, toys to play with, food to eat and clothes to wear. Your dad also works to pay for the school you go to, and for your school supplies. Sometimes he is very tired, but he plays with you and tells you stories.
Some children don’t have a dad. Some dads die, other leave the home. Some children only have a mom, or grandma and grandpa.
On earth, there are evil dads. But in Heaven, we have a very kind Father. He loves us to an extent that we cannot even measure!
Psalm 103 is another invitation for us to make a list of all the benefits that God gives us and praise Him for it. God forgives, heals, is kind and gives us everything we need.
Let’s practice!
Draw something for which you are very grateful to God.
