Pure Children

«Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.» Psalm 119:11

What does it mean to be a pure child? It means to be a child who doesn’t lie, who treats others well, who says “thank you” when someone does a favor, who asks for forgiveness after doing something wrong, who shares toys and snacks, but also who knows how to say no when invited to do something wrong and when disrespected.

To be pure is not to be perfect. But it is to be willing to improve every day. However, you can never be pure without God’s help.

God gave His laws to show us what is right and what is wrong, what is purity and what is impurity.

So, to be pure and to have a clean heart you need to keep God’s Word in your heart. This means studying the Bible every day and asking God to help you obey it! Then you will be a pure child.

Let’s practice!

Draw God’s Word, the Bible, inside a heart. Pray asking God to help you to be a pure child.
