«I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.» Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV)
Have you ever cried out: “Heeeeeeelp?”
Once, I cried out with all my might. Do you know what happened? I was riding my bike on the sidewalk, and an evil man appeared and wanted to steal my backpack and grabbed my arm tightly. I was very afraid… I was shaking and screaming. Then my husband ran over to me. The evil man got scared of him and ran away on his motorcycle.
God is much more powerful to help us than the strongest man in the world. He made heaven and earth: He is the Almighty! He watches over us day and night, without rest. He is always attentive. He doesn’t neglect us at any moment because He is like a shadow that rests on us. His greatest desire is for us to not make wrong choices. That is why He is always with us, when we are sleeping or awake, when we are eating, talking with friends, or walking.
Let’s practice!
Repeat this verse: “The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and even forevermore” (Psalm 121:8).
