«The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.» Psalm 145:18
God will fulfill the desire of those who fear him; he will hear their cry and save them.
Do you want to be close to Jesus every day? I do! You cannot see Him. Neither can I. Yet we can talk to Him through prayer and ask Him to be with us every day!
Psalm 145 was written by David. I think he was an old man when he wrote it, and it was called the Psalm of praise. David wanted to praise God because He likes to be close to His children.
But God does not force Himself to be with us. He waits for us to ask Him. Then He feels the greatest joy to be with us, to hear our stories, to answer our prayers, to care for us, and to one day take us to Heaven!
Let’s practice!
Repeat the verse: “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). Now pray to Jesus asking Him to be near you every day.
