«To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.» Ecclesiastes 3:1
I don’t always like to do everything I do. Some things are tiring. But I need to get used to the fact that there is a time to do what we like and what we don’t like.
Solomon said that there is a time for everything! There is a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to reap; a time to get sick and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build up; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones; a time to hug and a time to stop hugging; a time to lose something and a time to find something; a time to keep something and a time to throw it away; a time to speak and a time to stay quiet; a time to tear and a time to mend; a time to love and a time to hate; a time to make war and a time to make peace.
So, there is a time for you to play and a time to listen to mom’s advice, a time to sleep and a time to stay awake, a time to eat and a time to let your stomach rest, a time to get dirty and a time to bathe, a time to go to the beach and a time to go to church.
Sometimes you want everything to happen quickly, don’t you? Let’s be patient! There is a time for everything.
Let’s practice!
Put three little bean seeds in a wet cotton pad and watch the little plant grow each day.
