If You Seek Me, You Will Find Me!

«And you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.» Jeremiah 29:13

God’s people had been taken captive to an enemy country, Babylon. Years went by, and they missed their land. Many suffered for being slaves. They were tired. They wanted to worship God, they wanted to be close to their family. But they were surrounded by strange people, with different customs from those they had learned in the Torah scrolls, the Bible. Sometimes they thought: “I don’t think God loves us! Why are we here?”

The people were there because they had been very disobedient. Do you remember? But God still loved them and wanted to get them out. They would stay 70 years in that strange land. But they should keep seeking God, praying every day, and God would answer them.

Let’s practice!

Do you sometimes think that Jesus doesn’t love you? He is sad when we disobey Him, but He never stops loving us. Ask Him to make sure that you never stop loving Jesus.
