«I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.» Exodus 6:7
The Hebrews were suffering a lot in Egypt! They had become slaves, were beaten by the taskmasters and were forced to work hard.
Moses went to live in the palace and became an adult there. When he saw the situation of his people, he was very sad.
One day, he ran away from the palace and went to live in the country, tending sheep.
He was already 80 years old. One day, when he was in the desert, suddenly he saw a burning bush, that was not consumed. God was there and called him to deliver His people from Egypt.
Moses was frightened, but obeyed and went to Egypt to speak to the pharaoh. Pharaoh paid no attention to him. But God told him that He would set the Hebrews free because they were His special people.
Did Moses succeed in getting the people out of Egypt?
