«Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name.» Ezekiel 39:25
God is so good! He is love! He is merciful! What is mercy? It is a strong feeling of the heart when we see someone suffering greatly. It means we put ourselves in the place of others and feel their pain. Did you know that God feels your pain when you suffer?
While the people were captive in Babylon and suffering, God was attentive. Some groups returned to their land and worked to rebuild the city.
But God promised that one day the whole land would be restored and there would be no more suffering. That day has not yet come, but it is very near.
Can you imagine being in a place where you can play with a lion and a bear without fear? Ah! I dream of that day! Jesus promised that one day every bad thing will pass away, and sadness will be no more!
Let’s practice!
Do you have a little friend who is suffering? Ask your mom to help you prepare a gift for him or her and say: “I am praying for Jesus to take care of your heart. One day no one will suffer anymore.”
