«Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.» Daniel 12:3
What does it mean to be a wise child? Does it mean to get the best grade in school? No. Does it mean to be the prettiest in the neighborhood? No. Wise children are those who have love in their hearts, who hold the hand of an old man who is sad, who share their toys with their friends, who help their mother, who know how to say “thank you” when they receive a favor, who give others a turn.
To be a wise child, you must love God and talk to Him every day. Do you know why? We are not born wise. God is wise and wants us to be like Him. When we are His friends and obey Him, we end up becoming wise. God says that those who are wise will shine like the stars! Do you want to be a wise child?
Let’s practice!
Draw a beautiful sky and glue stars cut out from shiny paper. Put your name on one of the stars.
