«But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.» Matthew 6:33
What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Do you run to get your toys? Playing is very important. All children should play, run, sweat and laugh. Playing helps children grow up physically and mentally healthy. If you like to play, that’s very good! You should continue to play.
But there is something even more important than playing. Do you know what it is? It is to seek Jesus first. We should always put first what is most important.
Jesus must be the most important thing in our life. Putting Jesus first means that the first thing you do in the day, before anything else, will be to talk to Jesus, tell Him how you feel about Him, thank Him for taking care of you and ask Him to walk with you throughout the day and to be with you when you play and in everything you do.
When we seek God first, He gives us everything else we need.
Let’s practice!
Draw a picture of what is most important in your life.
