«Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.» Exodus 18:21
Do you like to receive visitors? One day Moses received special visitors: Jethro, his father-in-law, his wife, Zipporah, and their two children, who were being cared for by their grandfather.
They hugged each other and were very happy! But Jethro noticed that Moses was very tired! He was taking care of the people all by himself. There was a huge line of people for him to listen to.
So, Jethro taught Moses how to be a good leader. He explained that Moses needed to get some helpers. Moses followed his father-in-law’s advice, and it did him a lot of good!
Let’s practice!
Your mom and dad are your best friends, and when they teach you something, it is for your own good. Name two special things they have taught you.
