Jesus Multiplies Five Loaves And Two Fish

«And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fish he divided among them all.» Mark 6:41

Jesus and His disciples were very tired. They spent the days healing, visiting, preaching and tending to people. Sometimes there wasn’t even time to eat.

One day, He called the disciples to a place far away. There they could rest. But people found out that Jesus was there, and one person told another until a crowd showed up.

Jesus felt sorry for those people and put aside his tiredness and preached to them all day. It was almost nightfall, and no one had eaten. Now what? Jesus asked if anyone there had any food. A little boy had five loaves of bread and two little fish.

Jesus prayed over this food and asked the disciples to distribute it to the people. Wow! Suddenly there were so many loaves and fish that everyone could eat! Jesus performed a miracle!

Let’s practice!
