«And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.» Acts 23:12
God never abandoned Paul. God always accompanies those who tell His story to others.
Paul was imprisoned in a fortress and early one morning his enemies gathered to plan to kill him. There were more than 40 men there. They went to the judges and asked them to write a letter to release Paul from the fortress to be overseen by another judge.
Do you know what they wanted to do? While Paul was on his way to the new place, they wanted to take him by surprise and kill him.
But Paul’s nephew was hiding and heard everything. He ran to tell his uncle about the plan. The commander of the fortress heard about it and called many soldiers to accompany Paul to the new place he was going.
As a result, Paul’s enemies couldn’t do anything against him. God had protected Paul once again!
Let’s practice!
Draw the angel that was watching over Paul. Did you know that there is an angel who watches over you too?
