«Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.» 1 Corinthians 10:12
Do you think you are a good child?
Then remember that, every day, Satan likes to get close to all the people to whisper in their ears: “Hey! Why don’t you take and hide your friend’s toy?” “Why don’t you kick your brother?” “Why don’t you draw on your mom’s notebook?” “Pull the cat’s tail!” “Put your dirty laundry under the bed!” “Lie to your dad!”
Satan wants you to do many bad things, doesn’t he? He does that to children who don’t love Jesus, but he also does that to children who do love Jesus. That’s why we can’t go even one day without talking to Jesus, singing to Him, listening to stories from His Word and asking Him to be with you.
Even if you think you are a good child, you need to be careful. If not, you will listen to whatever Satan whispers in your ears.
Let’s practice!
Repeat the verse: “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall” (1 Corinthians 10:12).
