«Beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord». 2 Corinthians 3:18
What do you like to watch on TV the most? Do you have a favorite cartoon character or movie? What is your favorite Bible story?
I know children who don’t sit in front of TV screens, computer screens, or smartphone screens. They don’t spend time playing video games. They would rather play with a ball, run, or jump in the park with their friends.
Other children sit for hours watching cartoons, movies and shows. Then they want a haircut like the hero of the show. Little girls want to buy make-up, clothes and toys just like the character they saw.
Did you know that we end up looking like what we watch too long? If you watch scenes of people smoking, drinking alcohol, fighting, cursing and being violent, it will be stored in your memory and someday you will repeat what you saw.
Do you want to be like Jesus? Then spend more time talking to Him, listening to His stories, listening to His music, and then you will become like Him.
Let’s practice!
Repeat the verse: “Beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
