«God loves a cheerful giver.» 2 Corinthians 9:7
Have you ever seen a selfish child? When someone asks him for something, he frowns and clings to what he has in his hand and says: “It’s mine!” “You can’t have it!” They don’t share their toys or their snack with anyone.
There are also selfish adults who only care about themselves. They don’t care if they see someone going hungry, if they have no clothes to wear, if someone needs help.
This makes God’s heart sad, because He taught us that we should be kind to others and help those in need.
Did you know that people with a good heart, who like to help others, are healthier and happier than selfish people?
When you help someone, remember to do it with joy.
Let’s practice!
There are many people who need your help. Prepare a snack to give to someone on the street.
