«Christ lives in me.» Galatians 2:20
The apostle Paul dedicated his life to do what God wanted. He preached to many people and many of them accepted to be God’s friends.
He once said: “I am crucified with Christ.” What do you think that meant? It meant that whatever God asked him to do, he would do it, even if he had to suffer a lot, and even if he had to die.
For Paul, doing God’s will was more important than his life. He was a sinner and was still tempted to do things that weren’t pleasing to God, but he had chosen to say “no” to temptation and “yes” to what God wanted.
This is why Paul said that Christ lived in him: he would do Christ’s will and not his own.
Do you also want Christ to live in you?
Let’s practice!
Repeat the verse: “Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20).
