Like Jesus

«But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.» Colossians 3:14

Do you remember what happened when Adam and Eve sinned? People became friends with Satan and looked like him. Children became disobedient to their parents, parents started to treat their children poorly, fights started to take place, wars, diseases, death. To be like Satan is to be evil, to lie, to be selfish, to treat others poorly and to be very unhappy.

But you don’t want to be like this great enemy, do you? I want to be like Jesus! Don’t you want to be like Him, too? When we say: “Dear Jesus, I want the Lord to live in my heart,” He cleans our heart and makes us like Him.

If you have asked Jesus to clean your heart, He will make you obedient to your parents, kind to your siblings, friends and pets, reverent in the house of God; He will make you only tell the truth, think only of good, right things and make you use kind words and love everyone.
