Don’t Get Tired Of Doing Good

«And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.» 2 Thessalonians 3:13

One day Johnny was running on the playground and Sam, a classmate, put his foot in front of him. Johnny fell and got a bump on his forehead. He cried because it hurt so much. Sam laughed at Johnny, didn’t apologize and didn’t help him up.

A while later, Johnny was again playing on the playground. Then he felt hungry. His mother had prepared a tasty snack. Johnny sat down on the grass, opened his backpack, took the sandwich and took a big bite. It was delicious!

Suddenly a friend arrived and stood next to Johnny. Do you know who it was? Sam, the boy who had made him fall and had laughed at him.

Johnny remembered Jesus and thought “I think Jesus would do good.” And he offered Sam a portion of his lunch. Johnny was kind! He wasn’t tired of doing good, even to a classmate who had been mean to him.

Let’s practice!

Repeat today’s verse.
