«For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.» 1 Timothy 6:10
Do you have a piggy bank to keep your money? If your mom or dad gave you a piggy bank, they are helping you to take care of your money.
It’s important to learn from a young age to take care of your money. Many children grow up thinking that they can buy anything they want at any time, regardless of the price. When they become adults, they continue to spend everything they have, and when they need to pay for something important, they have no money left.
God is the owner of our money. But some people end up liking money so much that they turn it into a god. That is a sin.
God gave us money to buy what we need. But some of that money belongs to God. Do you know how much is His? Ten percent. The rest of the money is for you.
When you want to buy something, you must first see how much it costs, how much money you have, and then how much time it will take to get the amount of money for what you want. You should save until you get the needed amount.
Let’s practice!
Why don’t you save some coins in your piggy bank to buy a present for a poor child?
