Our Defender

«So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.» Hebrews 9:28

Do you remember that Satan tempted Jesus three times in the wilderness? He wanted Jesus to believe his lies. Then evil would rule over our world forever.

But Jesus said no to Satan, and Satan fled from His presence. Jesus won and Satan was defeated.

Today Satan watches over all of us to tempt us and make us believe his lies so that we will lose heaven.

When we do something wrong, Satan laughs at us, but if we ask for forgiveness, we have a defender: Jesus. He receives our prayers so that we can be purified by Him. Then He says: “I died for this child, and I can offer My forgiveness, My purity, and My righteousness to him. You don’t stand a chance, Satan!”

Thanks to His sacrifice on the Cross, Jesus took our sins upon Himself and placed His perfection upon us.

Jesus is our high priest, our advocate, and He defends us while Satan is accusing us of being weak before God.

Let’s practice!

Repeat the verse: So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28
