«Beloved, I pray you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.» 3 John 1:2
John, the beloved disciple, wrote a letter to a faithful disciple named Gaius. He spoke about Jesus to other people and was very devoted.
John wanted Gaius to have good health. Do you have good health? Some children eat all day long, eat a lot of sweets and snacks, spend hours in front of the TV or another device, don’t run, don’t play outside.
It’s very important to take care of your health. Do you know why? Everything we eat and drink will turn into blood. Blood carries nutrients to the whole body and the brain.
If you put your hand on your forehead, you touch the place in the brain where God speaks to us. If the blood that goes to the brain is full of impurities, you will get sick and you will not perceive God’s voice.
But it is not only what you eat or drink that hinders your health. What you hear and see can also do harm or good. Take care of your health!
Let’s practice!
Draw two things that are good for your health that you like.
