Good News!

«If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’» Numbers 14:8

God brought the people out of Egypt so that they could conquer the land of Canaan. Before they entered the new land, God told Moses to send twelve spies to see the land.

And off they went. For some time, they walked and walked through the new land getting to know the people, the animals of the land, the crops and everything that was there.

Do you know what they saw there? Huge people: giants! They saw cities with very high walls and heavy gates with strong iron locks. They also saw many kinds of fruit. In addition to beautiful and delicious figs, grapes and pomegranates, there were many sweet dates! There was so much abundance!

As soon as they returned, ten of them were very afraid of the giants and frightened by the strong cities. But two of them trusted that God would help them conquer this land.

Let’s practice!

Tell your mom and dad who you would stand with: the fearful ones who wanted to run away from the giants, or the courageous ones who would trust God and conquer the land of Canaan?
