God Is Faithful

«Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God.» Deuteronomy 7:9

Has someone ever promised you something? A gift, an outing, or something else? Have you been waiting for the promise to be fulfilled? What if the person forgot to give you the gift that they promised? Would you be sad? I would be sad.

Did you know that God made great promises to you and to all His children?

At the very beginning of this book is the story of Adam and Eve’s disobedience. God promised them that to return one day to live in the Garden of Eden, He Himself would die for their sins. And He fulfilled that promise. He came into the world as a little baby, grew up and was killed on a cross. He suffered a lot. But He always keeps His promises.

He kept all the promises that He made to the people of Israel. The people promised to be obedient, but they were disobedient.

Jesus promised that one day He will come back for you, to take you to Heaven. Do you believe this? He is faithful and will fulfill this promise.

Let’s practice!

Draw a pretty picture of what you want to see in Heaven.
