«Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.» 2 Chronicles 15: 7
Sometimes we can feel discouraged, tired and unwilling to sing a beautiful song, as if everything is too difficult. Getting discouraged is as if the spirit, that has the energy and desire to do things, disappears. That's when we feel that everything is hard and we don't feel like trying anymore.
In 2 Chronicles 15:7, God gives us an encouraging message: “But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!” God was speaking to the people of Israel, who were facing difficult times, but this message also applies to us today.
Discouragement can appear when things don't go as planned or when we have too many challenges ahead of us. But God reminds us not to lose hope. He is with us, giving us strength and courage to move forward. And more than that, God promises that our effort and dedication will be rewarded. Amen for that? This means that, even if things seem difficult right now, there are good things waiting for us if we continue to do good and trust in God.
Take Action
Create an “Encouragement Journal.” Write on it when you feel discouraged and state what's causing that feeling. Then write down something God has done for you in the past that has helped you get through a difficult time. This will remind you that God is always there for you, ready to help you overcome discouragement and reward you for your perseverance. Remember, “Your work shall be rewarded.”
