«And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.» Job 28: 28
Have you ever stopped to think about how incredibly well thought out everything around us is? In Job 28, we are led to reflect on God's greatness and wisdom, but we don't have to look far to realize it. Just look at the complexity of creation around us. The human eye, for example, is such a perfect seeing machine that no scientist has ever been able to invent anything like it. And the animals! Each has unique abilities to survive and help balance our world.
In addition, the seasons are also a perfect example of God's wisdom. Each season brings with it vital changes that affect all of creation, from the smallest seeds that sprout in the spring to the impressive migration of animals that adjust to these changes in order to survive. What about plants and fruits? God has thought of everything! He created delicious fruits with seeds inside, so that life continues to multiply. It's as if each fruit is a bundle of life waiting to happen. All of this shows how wise God is and how He has thought out every detail, creating a perfect cycle of life.
Take Action
How about doing a little research in nature? It can be in your backyard, in a park, or even with plants indoors. Choose a plant or an animal to observe and try to discover something new about it. How does it feed? How does it protect itself? Then share what you learned with someone, showing how it reflects God's wisdom in creation.
