«He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.» Psalm 91: 1, 2
Playing hide-and-seek is a lot of fun, isn't it? Finding the perfect place to hide and hoping to be found is a game that I believe even your grandparents still know how to play. In Psalm 91, the Bible talks about a different kind of hiding place: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust. […] He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.”
When we are in this hiding place, we are protected and safe, for God sends His angels to watch over us: “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” These angels are like invisible guardians who are always by our side, even if we can't see them. When you're playing, studying, or even sleeping, God's angels are there, keeping you safe.
Remember, whenever you feel insecure or scared, you can pray and ask God to send His angels to protect you. They are a testament to God's love and care for each of us.
Take Action
Organize a game of hide-and-seek with your family. While you're playing, remember that, just as you hide and are found, God's angels are always by your side. They are your invisible companions, protecting you at all times.
