A CHILD WAS BORN TO US

«For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.» Isaiah 9:6

Long ago, the prophet Isaiah announced the birth of a very special boy: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” That child was Jesus, and He came into the world to fulfill all the Old Testament prophecies that referred to Him, the Messiah. Each title given to Jesus has a very special meaning:

·      Wonderful: Jesus is called Wonderful because He has done and is doing wonders. Every miracle, teaching and action of Jesus on earth was a true marvel, showcasing God's power and love in extraordinary ways.

·      Counselor: He is someone we can look to for wisdom and guidance. When we are confused or need help, Jesus is the best counselor.

·      Almighty God: Jesus is not just a leader or teacher; He is God! This means that He has all the power to work miracles and change our lives.

·      Eternal Father: Jesus is like a loving father to us. He cares for us and offers us unconditional love.

·      Prince of Peace: In a world full of conflict and trouble, Jesus brings true peace to our hearts. True peace is not the absence of problems, but the presence of Jesus with us, even in the midst of problems!

Each of these titles helps us understand a little more about who Jesus is and what He does for us. He is not just a historical figure who changed our world before and after Him. He is One who can change your story, bringing wonder, love, wisdom, power, care and peace. Amen for that?
