«Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. » Isaiah 55: 6
We live in a world where we are always looking for something new. All the time! Whether it's Google, YouTube, social media, or anywhere in between, we're constantly on the lookout for information, entertainment and news. But, have you ever stopped to think about what really matters? Isaiah 55:6 to 8 reminds us that the main focus of our pursuits should not just be to entertain ourselves, but to know the Lord.
Seeking God means including Him in every part of our day. It's not just about praying before meals or going to church on the weekends. It's about talking to God during various parts of the day, reading the Bible, singing praises and giving thanks for all that He does for us. When we add these spiritual elements to our routine, we begin to see life in a different way.
Seeking God is also about asking for His guidance for the decisions we make and trusting that He has the best plan for us. And the amazing thing is that, when we seek God, He reveals Himself to us in surprising ways. He shows us His love, His grace and His wisdom. And best of all, He promises that when we seek Him, He will let Himself be found. So keep reading this devotional, praying and seeking God every day this year. He is always ready to reveal himself to you.
