«Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.» Jeremiah 33:2, 3
Have you ever stopped to think that the Creator of the universe, the same God who formed the Earth and everything on it, is willing to listen to you? Yes, God invites us to call out to Him, to talk to Him about our doubts, fears, anxieties, dreams, and hopes. And He promises not only to hear us, but also to answer us and reveal amazing things to us that we do not yet know.
When we pray and cry out to God, we are opening our hearts to Him, trusting that He has what’s best for us. God is a loving Father who wants the best for His children, no matter what you are going through, He is always there for you. He knows every detail of your life and wants to help you grow and overcome every challenge. So do not hesitate to cry out to Him in every situation. God is always ready to hear and answer your prayers.
Take Action
It can often be difficult to remember that God is listening to us when we pray. To make this more real for you, try a playful exercise: before you pray, place an empty chair next to you and imagine that the Holy Spirit is sitting there, listening to your every word. This practice can help make prayer a more concrete and meaningful experience, especially for children. Always remember that God is always listening, no matter how you choose to communicate with Him.
