GOD GIVES VICTORY WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE

« Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. » Exodus 14: 21

I don't know if you've noticed this, but, God often works in that last second… at the very last minute of a football match, for example. You know that moment when we're about to give up; when we don't see a solution? Today's story is a perfect example of this.

Just imagine standing on the edge of the sea, with nowhere to run, with an entire army coming after you to capture you. That was exactly the situation of the people of Israel. They were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army, which had changed its mind about letting them go. But it was just when all seemed lost, when hope hung by a thread, that God acted in an incredible way. Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and, believe it or not, God made a way in the midst of the waters! A dry path emerged, allowing the people to pass. And when the Egyptian army tried to follow them, the waters closed in, protecting the people of Israel from their pursuers.

This story teaches us that, even when it seems like there is no way out, God can make the impossible happen. And why does God wait until the last moment to act? That it may be as clear as the day that it was He who did it. He wants us to know that it was divine intervention, without a shadow of a doubt! So, if you're struggling and you don't seem to have a way out, remember what happened at the Red Sea. Keep your faith and hope alive. God's help may be on its way, at the last second, to give us the victory we need.
