« and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” » Exodus 15:26
God has incredible power, a power that can do things that no one else can. One of those things is to heal people: not only of the body, but also of the heart and soul. When a healing happens in a way that no one can explain, it's called a “miracle.” A miracle is when something happens that doesn't follow the normal rules of the world. It's as if God winked and said, “I can do things that no one else can.” For example, when someone suddenly gets well from a very serious illness, or when something that seemed impossible happens. Those are miracles from God. And it's not just great healings. There are “mini” miracles that happen every day around us. We just need to realize that these things happen because of God.
In today's verse, God promises that, if we are obedient to His commandments and do what He approves, He will protect us. And if something bad happens to us, He has the power to heal. I know getting sick isn't nice at all. And you should know that it is not God's will that any of His children get sick. So, ask God to help you understand His purposes in the face of the problems you, your family, or acquaintances have! Do your part by taking good care of yourself and others, and trust in the best Doctor of all times. He is the Lord who heals you.
