COME TO ME

«Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.» Matthew 11: 28

“Come to me” is a special invitation from Jesus to all of us. He knows that life can be difficult and tiring at times. There are times when we feel overwhelmed with schoolwork, problems at home, or even when we're sad or worried about something. Jesus understands all this and invites us to come to Him to find relief and rest.

When Jesus says, “Come to me”, He is offering us a safe and peaceful place where we can rest. He wants to help us carry our burdens and give us the strength to face life's challenges. With Jesus, we don't have to feel alone or hopeless. He is always with us, ready to listen and comfort us.

Remember, Jesus is like a friend who is always there to help us. When we're tired, He gives us strength. When we're sad, He gives us joy. And when we're worried, He gives us peace. All we need to do is accept His invitation and come to Him.

Take Action

To understand the relief that Jesus offers, do a physical activity that makes you tired, such as running or jumping rope. After getting tired, drink a glass of cool water and feel the relief and “refreshment.” This is a bit of what Jesus wants to give us when we are tired and overwhelmed. He is our refreshing water!
