«So when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their ambush, he went and entered the barracks and told Paul.» Acts 23: 16
On life's journey, we face moments that seem to be controlled by hidden forces, with plans and plots designed to divert us from the right path. Today's story is a fascinating example of how, even when people make plans to harm us, which are these human conspiracies, God is always ready to protect us, having a unique way of looking after us, intervening and changing things for the better.
In this episode, Paul finds himself in a very dangerous situation: a group of more than forty men are plotting to kill him, swearing that they won't eat or drink until they have murdered him. It seemed like the end for Paul, but what happens next is a clear demonstration of supernatural protection and intervention.
Unexpectedly, Paul's nephew discovers the evil plan and goes to the Roman authorities, who take immediate action to ensure Paul's safety by transferring him to Caesarea. This action not only stopped the conspiracy but also took Paul to a safe place, where he would have the opportunity to testify about his faith in important places. God is an expert at turning situations we thought were bad into good ones!
Take Action
Take a piece of paper and make two lists. On the first, write down bad things that have happened to you but that God has turned into good things. On the second list, write down things that are difficult right now. Then pray for God to help you change those situations too.
