«Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You are permitted to speak for yourself.” So Paul stretched out his hand and answered for himself: “I think myself happy, King Agrippa, because today I shall answer for myself before you concerning all the things of which I am accused by the Jews.» Acts 26:1, 2
Paul’s story is one of the most powerful stories about transformation and faith found in the entire Bible. In Acts 26:1-32, Paul shares his testimony before King Agrippa, recounting his journey from being a fervent persecutor of Christ’s followers to becoming one of the most dedicated and influential apostles, spread-ing Jesus’s message throughout the known world. Today’s text is not just a historical account, it is a living demonstration of the transformative impact Jesus can have on someone’s life.
A testimony is much more than a personal story, it is living proof of how the love and power of Jesus can completely transform a person. That is why we are called to be witnesses, to share with the world the great things that Jesus has done for us. Just as Paul had the courage to speak before King Agrippa, each one of us has a unique story with Jesus that needs to be told. Our personal testimonies are powerful tools that God uses to reach hearts and change lives. Through our testimonies, we reveal not only what God has already done for us, but what He is eager to do for others as well.
Take Action
Be ready to tell the world your story with Jesus and how He has transformed your life! So take a moment to write your own testimony. Reflect on when you accepted Jesus and what your walk with Him has been like. Think back to times when you have felt His presence, strength, comfort, or direction in a special way. Writing your testimony is not just an exercise in personal reflection, it helps you prepare to share, at any opportunity, the transformative impact Jesus has had on your life.
