«What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?» Romans 8: 31
There are times in life when everything seems to be going wrong and the difficulties seem insurmountable. Sometimes, it seems that nothing is moving forward, and everything we try ends up failing. At other times, it even seems as if the whole world is conspiring against us. But it's at these times that we need to remember the promises of the Bible. And today's verse is one of the most beautiful: God is with us and works for our good.
Paul reminds us that, if God is for us, no one can be against us. This doesn't mean that we will never face problems or challenges. It means that, even in the most difficult times, God is working on our behalf. Even if we don't realize it, even if we don't understand it, He has a plan for our lives, and everything that happens, in some way, contributes to that plan.
If God was able to send His own Son to give Himself up for us, how can we be in any doubt that He will continue to be by our side? He has already given the greatest proof of love for you and me. So, trust Him; He knows what He's doing!
