«so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.» 2 Thessalonians 3: 13
Have you ever helped someone and then felt so happy that you wanted to do more? In today's verse, in 2 Thessalonians 3:13, we find a very special piece of advice: “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” Sometimes it can seem difficult to keep doing good things, especially when we don't see the results immediately, or when people don't thank us. But this verse reminds us that doing good is important, not just for the results or the recognition, but because it's the right thing to do.
Doing good is like planting seeds. Some seeds may take a while to grow, and we may not be there to see the tree at its full height or to harvest the fruit. But every act of kindness is a seed we plant in the world, and each one can make a big difference to someone's life. When we do good, we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, our Master, who dedicated His life to spreading love and kindness. Imagine the impact we would have on the world if each of us decided to do good every day! So don't get tired of doing good!
Take Action
This week, think about small acts of kindness you can do. It could be something as simple as drawing a card for a friend, helping with a homework assignment or sharing a toy. Remember, even if it seems small, every gesture of kindness is valuable and helps to make the world a better place.
