«God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,… has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.» Hebrews 1: 1,2
Have you ever stopped to think how easy it is to communicate these days? We have a multitude of apps and ways to talk to people around the world. From text messages to video calls, communication has never been so accessible.
In a similar way, God has used different means to communicate with humanity throughout history. Today's verse in Hebrews 1:1 to 4 tells us that God has spoken in many different ways. He used divine “apps,” such as prophets, dreams, visions and even angels, to convey His message to human beings. Imagine how exciting it was for the prophets to receive God's messages and share them with the people. They were like divine messengers, delivering the words of God Himself. And this happened in various ways throughout the ages.
But the most incredible thing of all is that, in recent times, God has spoken to us in an even more special way. He has sent us His own Son, Jesus Christ, to be God's living message to humanity. Through Jesus, God has shown us His love in such a profound way that we cannot deny it. It's as if He has sent us the most valuable message ever!
Take Action
How about taking on the challenge of communicating with ten different people and sharing what God has done in your life? Testifying about God's love and how He has revealed Himself to you can be a powerful form of spiritual communication. You can do this in person, through messages or even video calls. Remember that, just as God has used many means to speak to us, you can also use different forms of communication to share His message of love with others.
