THE SONG OF MOSES AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the [b]saints! … Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.” Revelation 15: 3,4

We were created in the image and likeness of God, correct? Yes, that's right. But did you know that God is different from all of us in a very special way? In today's passage, which is in Revelation 15:3 and 4, the Bible tells us something incredible about God: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested.”

This verse is very important because it talks about God's holiness. To be holy means to be completely without sin. Unlike us, who sometimes make mistakes and do things we shouldn't, God has never sinned. He has never done anything wrong. That's what makes Him so holy!

What's more, not only is He holy, but He is also worthy of all worship. The verse says that, one day, all the nations of the world will recognize this and worship God. That's a pretty powerful thing to think about, isn't it? One day, everyone will understand how incredible God is. I know you may have friends who mock your faith, but know that one day they will understand who our God is! He is the only One who is perfectly holy and deserves all our respect and worship!

Take Action

Take a black and white world map from the internet and paint it, highlighting the different continents. As you paint, reflect on how, one day, everyone around the world will understand how wonderful God is, and that only He can bring life and color to our lives.
