«Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.» Matthew 6:10
I hope you understand that God's will is absolute. He is God in Heaven and on Earth, and His will happens in His time. However, we also need to understand that God allows certain things to happen. It is the permissive will of God. You will also need to exercise your will so that God's will can be done in your life. I also hope you understand that you should not look for a Bible verse that supports what you want. Finally, let us now understand that we are active participants in the process and responsible for what happens.
We are under the mighty hand of God, but that does not eliminate the responsibility we have for our decisions. God offers us three lanterns to help illuminate us so that His sovereign will, which happens in Heaven, becomes effective on Earth. They are the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures and God’s people.
The Holy Spirit was given to correct us (John 16:8). Our hearts are deceitful and inclined toward evil. It tends to push the dirt under the rug, but the Spirit puts us in tune with Heaven and makes us see everything that needs to be fixed in our lives.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet” (Ps 119:105). Sometimes life provides many comforts, some of which take us away from God's plan. But, when we dwell on His Word, our path is made clear and the desire for our lives to be in harmony with God's will is placed in our hearts.
Lastly, we all need a proper relationship in the body of Christ. We beseech God for a blessing and ask Him to do His will. So, He places us around difficult people so we can develop His character attributes in us. Sincere communion with others anticipates a little piece of Heaven on Earth. The Holy Spirit, the Word and the people of God are three sources through which God begins to manifest His will on this side of eternity.
